Piggery

Our pigsty has a holding capacity of between 700 -1,000 pigs. We currently have stock of Dan bred on intensive production system. We adopted three (3) production strategies ie farrow to wean, farrow to finish and fattening in order to meet demand for pork. We intend to add value to the pork as a strategy of increasing our profits margins.

The piggery unit supports livestock production for income generation, providing quality pork products, improving nutrition, and creating
employment opportunities for youth and local farming communities.
