The farm management works with 800+ youth and women smallholder farmers. This number is expected to increase significantly because of the mobilization drive we are currently engaged in with four sub counties of Oriamo, Alwa, Kaberamaido and Aperikira. The current out grower farmers collectively possess over 7,840 acres of significant land for agricultural use. Maize production remains the cornerstone of our grain sector.  Growth in production has been fuelled by the adoption of hybrid seeds, fertilizer use, government initiatives promoting maize cultivation, population increase, urbanization, regional export opportunities and domestic consumption demand.
